John Reavey entered the legal profession in 1976 after working in the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Customs & Excise. He is an economics graduate of Queen's University. He served an apprenticeship in a leading Belfast practice and founded Reavey & Co in 1982. The firm has grown from a sole practitioner's office undertaking mainly legal aid work to a medium sized multi partner practice in 3 locations doing a wide variety of work from criminal proceedings to providing services for the business community.

He is presently based in the Rathcoole office with a criminal and litigation work load.

Donal deals with all aspects of both civil and criminal litigation, particularly personal injury claims and is a member of the association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He joined the practice from England in 1995 and has been a partner since 1999 working throughout this time at the firm's Carrickfergus office.

John has spent his entire legal career with Reavey & Company, completing his apprenticeship in 1996. He is an accomplished advocate and attends Magistrates Courts daily and deals with most of the firm's Crown Court criminal actions. He combines this with an expanding litigation practice in conjunction with John Reavey at Rathcoole.

Joe Tunney joined Reavey & Co as a Partner following the merger with J M Tunney Solicitors. He has practised in Carrickfergus since taking over Terence Shiels & Co in 1994. He has extensive experience in property development, commercial conveyancing, litigation, probate and matrimonial work.

Joe Studied Law at Queens and Qualified in 1991.

David has been with Reavey & Co from 1999 and manages the Whiteabbey office. He is in general practice and his work load includes domestic & comercial conveyancing debt recovery probate and litigation.

Gavin Graham obtained a BA (hons) in law and government from the University of Ulster in 2000.He entered the firm as a graduate trainee and his work load includes litigation and applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.

Nigel has been with the firm since graduating from the University of Ulster in 2005 with an LLB (Hons) in Law with Government. He joined the firm as a trainee and is currently based in our Carrickfergus office.
